Elegant and convenient location To Port Jefferson Ferry and downtown amenities and attractions. Great staff. Large well equipt Rooms , free parking , good restaurants inside and within easy walking distance from the hotel.

A beautiful view in a spacious king room. Located in the middle of town near fantastic restaurants. Loved the Black Pearl restaurant and enjoyed the live music. We will be back!

My wife and I took a one day getaway and decided to stay at this hotel. It was on one of the coldest days. I can remember where the real feels were down to 15 below. Such a nice stay and the rooms were super nice, comfortable and clean. The restaurant was all so very fantastic and had a great menu where both my wife and I could find items we liked. The staff was so courteous in the dining room and in the hotel. Because it was an exceptionally cold night, the original room we got was quite cool and when I called the front desk they immediately came up, moved us to a different room that did not face the ocean and we were absolutely fine. We definitely will be coming back here and we truly appreciated this wonderful hotel

Hosted an event here again and it was perfect! The event space was beautiful, and the coordinator went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. The waitstaff were attentive and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back next year!

A Wonderful Return After Many Years The last time I stayed at Danfords was back in 1992, so returning after all these years was a real treat. This time I came alone and had a very nice room—though I would have loved one a floor higher. The ambiance and décor are wonderfully tasteful, and the facilities are comfortable and well-appointed. It felt cozy and welcoming, and I’m already looking forward to coming back again. The location is right in the heart of Port Jefferson, and the atmosphere with the small houses surrounding the hotel feels very cozy. The room was very clean and in good condition. I especially appreciated the separation between the bed and the living area, which is very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were also attractive and well-maintained.

Amazing people in a beautiful hotel. The view of the marina and bay is so peaceful and nice. It sucks there's a power plant right next door but it has to go somewhere.... the food was great and the staff is so nice. The bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing. Definitely would come back when I'm in the area again

We stayed at Danfords for a wedding this weekend and the staff was truly standout across the board. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, but the real MVP was Destiny, my best friend’s bridal attendant. She went above and beyond all weekend to make sure everyone was happy, having fun, had a drink in hand, and felt taken care of. She brought such a warm and positive energy and was genuinely such a lovely young woman. Danfords is incredibly lucky to have her. She made a great experience even better and deserves recognition for all of her hard work. ✨

Got married here on 6/26, and it truly was the wedding of our dreams!!! Annmarie went above and beyond every step of the way, always making us feel like a priority and doing everything she could to bring our vision to life. She and her team are nothing short of outstanding and I truly believe our day was as perfect as it was because of her. On the big day, everything flowed seamlessly. The food was outstanding, the staff was attentive, and every part of the day was coordinated perfectly. Everyone from our bridal attendant (Destiny) to our Maître D, to Elyse made us feel like royalty!!! All the event spaces are stunning and the grounds for your pictures are immaculate. Our guests also loved being able to stay right on the property and had nothing but great things to say about the hotel rooms. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or a better team to celebrate the best day ever. If you're considering getting married here, do it—you won't regret it!!!
